Hai Phong is well-known as one of the leading politico-economic centers of Vietnam, the biggest industrial city and harbor of North Vietnam, and the important domestic and global transport hub. Realizing the important role in the historical process, the connection to all aspects of human life, the recognizable value of paper, and the outstanding development in printing technology and information devices, My Huong Paper Factory was built in 2008 and started its operation in 2009. The factory is located in Truong Son Town, An Lao District, Hai Phong with an area of 3.5ha and the workshop’s area is 8.000m2 equipped with advanced infrastructure conditions of electricity, water, transportation, post, medical, etc especially the remarkable advantages of locating in the East adjacent to Hai Phong Port supports road and waterway transport effectively.
The year 2020 marked the important growth of the factory with the establishment of My Huong Paper Manufacturing Joint Stock Company after breaking obstacles. The company has been innovated by the determined leading and effective direction of the new Leading Board and Sao Sang Group. The company has been rearranged and reorganized in terms of organization structure, manufacturing lines, renovation, repair, and new investment in equipment, skilled staff, technicians, and employees. Additionally, the company not only connected and established a partnership with qualified suppliers in America, Japan, and Europe in order to import 90%-95% of manufacturing materials but also invested in the construction of a qualified quality control laboratory in order to secure the manufacture and quality of products under international requirements.
Moreover, the labor safety, working environment and living standard of employees are well noted in order to achieve the best working results and productivity as well as the environmental friendliness. Imported paper materials processed by advanced countries such as America and Europe under stringent criterias minimize the polution from scrap paper, the closed water usage system in manufacture is built according to Standard B of Vietnam and the treatment of solid and gas waste is solved with great consideration as well.
With professional investment improvement strategy and market sensitivity, Leading Board of the Company highly recognizes the demand for packaging paper in the market due to the change in consumption habits of environmental-friendly products and the strong development of e-commerce while packaging paper manufacture capacity is still limited in Vietnam, almost 100% trade deficit. The Leading Board decided to focus on manufactuing Duplex packaging paper products with an expected capacity of 68,000 tons per year, targeting the domestic packaging companies, foreign joint-venture companies... in order to ensure qualified and high quality products, to be a reliable and reputable partner of customers. The company’s target is to be the top leading Duplex paper manufacturing company in Vietnam in 2025.
